Products & rubrics
Although there are three projects listed here the students will only complete one of the storytelling projects (human interest article or children's story) in a six week unit. Please visit the Products & Performances page for more details.
Each project handout includes the following information: student's role, task, procedure, format, and checklist (for peer review or self assessment purposes).
In order to provide a real world experience, the students will adopt a specific role and perform a designated task as required by an employer. The roles include: anthropologist, journalist / photographer, and children's author / illustrator.
